Call window.oxidt.track with an event name and optional properties:
js
window.oxidt.track("signup", { plan: "pro", trial: true });- Names are up to 120 characters. Use stable names like
signuporcheckout_started. - Properties: up to 30 per event. Values must be strings, numbers or booleans; nested objects are dropped.
- Don't put personal data (email addresses, names) into properties.
Before the script has loaded
If you track before script.js has loaded, queue the calls:
html
<script>
window.oxidt = window.oxidt || { q: [] };
window.oxidt.track = window.oxidt.track || function () { window.oxidt.q.push(arguments); };
</script>Queued events are sent as soon as the script loads.
In the report
Custom events appear at the bottom of the Visitors report. Click an event to see how often each property value occurred and how many visitors sent it. The same click shows the event as a goal: the share of visitors who sent it, and the conversion rate per entry page and per source. Filters (country, page, sourceā¦) apply here too.
